How do I create an Original Sound audio clip?

With Original Sound, users can create Original Sound audio clips of up to 30-seconds, and create content by remixing other users’ Original Sound clips as well.

To create an Original Sound clip from the Lomotif app:

1. Tap “+” in the home feed to start a new project.
2. Select a video clip from your device, or click on camera to shoot a video clip in real time.
3. If you are looking to create your own Original Sound, tap “skip” at the “Add Music” page.
4. Make edits to your Lomotif and once you’re ready to post, click “next”.
5. Type in your caption and click “post” to publish your Lomotif.
6. Hooray! Your Original Sound clip is now live and ready to be remixed by the Lomotif community.

Note that you can record one or multiple clips that add up to 30 seconds only, while creating an Original Sound audio clip.
